I'm not getting a season ticket.

Watching Reading FC isn't good for my health.

Sod 'em all.

Great, that was nice and anti-climactic, wasn't it?

Good news on the ST prices - I make that nigh on ten quid a match cheaper, which isn't too bad. The reduction more than absorbs the cost of not renewing our current seats and trying to get some in a different spot this season.

I bl00dy love this club, I do....

Sir Steve makes the right decision - he knows he has unfinished business - and Mr Mad does the right thing for the fans (even if it is a cynical attempt to get the Mad House 3/4 full for most of the season.... well, at least until Chrimbo when we are second chasing the Blunts before Kits, Doyler and Leroy go in to overdrive feeding off the mesmerizing skills of Blakey.)

OK, I'm delusional and delirious. Off to tickle the Missus....

Kes LOL @ the most boring press conference EVER getting cut off for the Man Utd one.

It was just getting interesting where we were being told that Coppell was definitely going to leave, and then .... "we have to leave this now" BOLLOX!!! Why did Mad have to waffle so much at the beginning? Man, even I was shouting for him to GET ON WITH IT!

The City of New York keeps blocking all my little news outlets. TG they haven't blocked HNA? Yet.

It's so sad when I need to resort to using HNA? as a primary news source. Eek!

A very well done to the car park brigade who played a major role in keeping Coppell here.

For me this speaks volumes about the club, SSC, the chairman, the fans, the backroom staff and all and is all part of the continued 'brick by brick' philosophy.

The fans are not demanding of constant and instant success and can swallow whatever is chucked at us (despite what you read on HNA). We are an up and coming club, with ambition, but not overinflated ego.

The chairman can accommodate risk, the odd bad decision and dressing room fallout without resorting to blaming the manager to save his skin. He clearly has a business plan that could accommodate relegation and quite likely had it at the start of the season.

As a club we don't dispense with the one man expected to pull it all together at the first or even major sign that it's not going as best as it could.

I'm still very disappointed that we just didn't get that draw at home to Fulham or Bolton, or didn't conceded so badly against Pompey or Spurs but the last game of the season sealed my opinion on the potential for effort and commitment.

Expect some plaudits from the football fraternity. Newcastle, Citeh and some black country clubs et all take note!

As suspected, a bit of a pointless news conference. i think SKY realised that after about 10 minutes of drivel.
