But it's a more competative league, we could finish between 1-13.

Warnock's Palace must be in with a shout but Derby and Birmingham will both be potless and do well to finish in the Top half. I quite fancy Derby to get relegated again actually. If Boothroyd can spend a bit to improve Watford's squad I would imagine they will be capable improvement as he is a good manager I think.

A Reading fan telling me I know nothing about football Funniest thing I have heard all year. Luckily a few supporters have already told you to STFU before I did.

Anyway, Derby won't win this league, not a cat in hells chance. Birmingham might mount a challenge simular to West Brom's this season depending on what players they manage to keep hold of.

QPR might well be signing a lot of players, but that doesn't always mean they will go up, look at Leicester they brought in 12 players over the course of the season and ended up getting relegated.

I fully expect Reading, Ipswich, Wolves to be the main challengers next season as they play the game the proper way and Wolves and Ipswich have been steadily improving and providing Reading keep hold of their core players they should fare ok.

I don't support Wolves BTW, just you can see what McCartney is doing at Wolves and after watching them against West Brom which IMO was the most entertaining game of the Championship last season you can see marked improvement.

The problem is with Reading is losing becomes a habit and I think it will be a lot tougher than we think in the Championship. We've seen numerous clubs relegated from the Premiership before and really struggle the following season.

i think Palace are a great bet for next season. They finished the season strongly and they do have some great young players. Warnock will bring in a few more experienced players to help them along.

We've also seen fairly mediocre teams go down and come back up. Bolton repeatedly and more recently Brum last year. We are at least on a par with that team. Also Sunderland managed to win the title after not turning up for the first 8 games or so.
