Yorkshire Royal If that is true I will kill him. We must sell hunt for 5m as soon as possible before people realise he's not very good...

The whole year inn Is Stephen Hunt honestly worth 5 million pounds? What benchmark can we use here?
I like Hunt but for that money Sunderland can have him. Right now.

Royal Family Hunt move to Sunderland apparently should be completed within a couple of weeks. As for replacements - Steve Coppell has been offered Hameur Bouazza by Roy Hodgson on a one year loan with Reading & Fulham splitting his wage bill.

Tutti Frutti I'll drive Hunty to Sunderland myself for a £5m transfer fee. I'll carry him if it's £3m and Dean Whitehead.

Sunderland's attempts to sign Reading winger Stephen Hunt might have hit troubled waters as Everton are interested in the Republic of Ireland international. (The Guardian)

nickbob_sexypants Is Hunt really good enough to play for a team in Europe. IMO he did not really help us in a bid for survival as I feel we were weak on both flanks not just the right!

ElmParker Three years ago Moyes paid £3.5 for Philip Neville who is Stephen Hunt minus the speed. Adjusting the fee for inflation and pace, I calculate that £5m is probably fair.
God knows how much it would be if Hunt could also kick the ball really well.
