Season ticket application 08/09

by floyd__streete » 07 Jun 2008 13:23

I am still yet to receive my application pack through the post. Presumably Howe is still drafting my personal letter of apology for last season?

Perhaps they have decided not to bother with the packs, since 70% of the recipients will be putting theirs straight in the bin.

From the wording on the OS it doesn't look as though they are sending out renewal packs - you have to download them off the official site. Still, we all get a free scarf and a chance to watch the players training, so it's not all bad news Floyd!

That's progress, when Mad Dog was here we were allowed to go watch at Sonning all the time almost.

Do you mean this RL?
The OS http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10306~1321712,00.html
"Season ticket holders will also receive an official information pack in the post".

I like official things!

Why, because they have already renewed and don't need the letter?

I have spoken to the club and the last batch left the mailing house on Friday so to give Royal Mail some leeway should be delivered by tomorrow at the very latest and so if you still don't have one I would contact the club then.

Ours arrived today.

What happens if we want to change the name on a season ticket though - cos if we don't renew it in that name and then try and get a new one in another name, someone might have taken our seat by the time we're allowed to do it.

There is no official way to change the name on a season ticket as the ts&cs say it is non-transferable.

So, we have to let that one go, then get a new one when they're released and hope that the seat hasn't already been taken by someone else?

As SL says tickets have never been transferable, if you are lucky the new named person will have enough points, otherwise someone else may get in first, harsh but true.

Had we built an extension...............................

It wouldn't have made any difference, as the seat next to us might still have been taken before we could get a new name on the ST.

Got mine too. Couldn't see the point though, considering I'd renewed last Tuesday.
