There is no doubt Little would of gaines us at least another 3 goals or another point.

If they let him go i will be furious. His ability is exactly what is needed to get us out the championship, if he can only play half the games then so be it, but you cant let a player of littles class go, he can't exactly be holding out for a lot of money.

if someone offers him a two year contract on more money that we offer im sure he would leave.
and despite him being the best player ive seen in a reading shirt, im not sure if it would be a good idea to break the bank and outr policys over aged players to keep him

this football manager shit is hard innit

If this rumour is true then I suggest that the club and all the staff and players shun him and refuse to talk to him!

Lets be realistic here.......

Little will never get back to the level he was 2 or 3 years ago.

If this is true (which I highly doubt) then it will force us to move on, either with Kebe/Henry, or a new RW.

He has already signed a new deal at the Mad Stad so why would he leave?

He was offered Terms which is very different from actually signing!

His contract ran out Summer 2008. http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/pa ... 39,00.html

He left his Burnley on a Bosman. Some Burnley fans felt that Little 'sold out' and left in order to receive a higher wage, leading to a very mixed reaction on his return to Turf Moor.

I don't see this as a massive blow to be honest. In fact it could be a blessing in disguise.

Little will not be fit enough to play more than about half th egames, and those he is unlikely to kast 90 minutes in a huge number of them. At the moment we have Little, Kebe and Henry. To bring in a new right winger one of them really needs to go. Now'd I'd bin Kebe, but we need to pick up quality for the right and this might just be a big indicator that we plan to do just that.

Little is great but he is not enough for a promotion push on his own.

Is it? I can only find this on the official website....http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/pa ... 21,00.html - says he's been offered a contract, whether he's agreed to it, I don't know.

Also found this one, http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/pa ... 39,00.html - it's the latest and doesn't mention whether he's accepted the deal.

Having said that, I can't see why he would choose Coventry over us.

I never said I saw it on the main site, I said it was on Wikipedia....

I agree with that...If Little is not going to be fit for half the games then we need to bring in a quality right winger anyway (kebe IMO does not possess the basic skill needed for this IMO and Henry is untested). Having Little sign will be nice for second choice right winger but i would be worried if we go into september without any quality cover for him or as it may turn out for him to cover. If Coventry are offering him 2 years on higher wages then fair play to Glen, he has been magic for us, one of the best players ever to pull on the hoops IMO but over the last 2.5 years he has been injured more than fit and if we are serious about a championship challenge it is a risk we cannot take IMO as there are no guarantees he will be as good as he was before his latest injury. if he wants to stick around and fight for a place then i will be delighted but we need to look forward and sign a replacement, not hope Glen can recover his form from 18 months ago and remain injury free.

I would not be totally surprised if Little left as I dont see the club doing a lot to keep various players, Shorey, Harper, Hunt, Kitson, Doyle and Marek could all be moved on before next season and dont be surprised if they are replaced by the acedamy starlets mainly because they meet the main criteria for Reading...................... Cheap !! and they wont run the risk of getting us promoted to that awfully expensive Premiership.
