One thing I like about Matejovsky, although he gives the ball away a bit too much is, it's always a positive mistake. By that I mean he's always trying to do something creative or positive. I'd sooner have a player like that than someone like Harper who would probably have a better pass completion rate but never does anything. The 2 or 3 times it comes off for Matejovsky a chance/goal will be created. He could be a massive player for Reading next season real talisman.

A hearty LOL at Tyldesley talking about Baros's record speeding offence. Complete silence from Pleat who was, of course, caught doing exactly the opposite!

I'm liking this Czech player Sionko.

Can anyone tell me more about him?

Could he be a realistic transfer target for the Royals?

He looks like Glenn Littles replacement on the Right Wing. Who does he play for?

Marek had a good game sitting fairly deep. Spread play fairly well and one fantastic defence splitting pass.
Got in the way of Ronaldo nicely a few times but as for Reading made a lot of clumsy challenges and gave away free kicks.

He seems to be neither particularly attacking nor especially defensive (in that he can't really tackle). Hopefully a stint in the chumpionship as an attacking player will do him good.

Sensibly subbed off. The czechs needed fresh legs and to go at Portugal more.

Sionko looks a very tidy player, but a bit hit and miss for my liking. Certainly not a like for like for Little, more a right forward. Played for Rangers this season didn't he? Bit out of our league, especially after these performances IMO.
