Was there ever any doubt as to the extent of his injury ?

How does it change many dyslexics to take a light-bulb?

Is it me or is there no such thing as bad spelling any more? You can either spell, or you are dyslexic.

No offence to the poster, who I am sure is genuinely dyslexic, and also unable to run his comments through a spell-checker before posting.

Royalwaster Could be worse I guess - could have been knee ligament.

agreed...if its just stretched ligaments, the physio/training can sort, but a tear will take long.....he may be fit for the first game, but may miss some or all of pre-season tho...a tear will take longer....knee problems also usually take longer....well based on my experience anyway....im no medic tho

Anyone who did that every time they posted would be truly sad

Is this the long awaited (by some) return of Dino Saw, Behindu?

Pedantic enough to be so.

...or dyslexic but keen to make sure they get their point across.

Anyway, no more from me on this subject - it's close to my heart because I'm dyslexic myself but hate being bracketed with people who are just lazy!

As it happens saw my physio last week because of a sore achillies. told me two things:

1. wheras they used to differentiate between swollen and tears, they now say they are all tears
2. unlike say skin (10 days) achillies tendons take 3 months to heal.

Which reminds me I must keep up my exercises

That's why using Firefox and having the dictionary app installed is great - it puts a little red line under all the wrong spellings, like it does in word :D

I suffered grade II ankle ligament damage last week (which is tearing of the ligaments but not total rupture), and I've been told no running for a MINIMUM of 8 weeks, so god knows how long til I kcik a ball again. :cry:

Clearly Marek may be in slightly better physical condition then me, and will obviously have a better recuperation programme than my Physio on Clapham High Street, but ankle ligaments can be pretty nasty injuries so I wouldn't take it as a given that he'll be ready for the start of the season.

Only upside is that it probably rules out him being sold, which is obviously a major bonus.

I did my tore my ankle ligaments 2 years ago and I was out for 3 months! :shock: That was partly due to the fact I had a few setbacks. I was in the gym 2 times a week down at the stadium doing excercies n shit like that.

West Stand Man
double d yeah that could reaccure much more easily then a strain to a ligament or something you need to get wacked quite hard for those to break i dont know butfrom my dads experiance achillies tendons are easy to bust (falling through a door while pissed) and could take a long time to heal

reaccure = re-occur?
experiance = experience ?
achillies = achilles ?
dads = dad's ?
then = than ?

Three lines of type with no punctuation and no capitals. We are told that the standard of British education is not falling.

Phew!

......Do you mean by reaccure=reoccur=recur?

Good news is that he's being sent to the yoplait centre to take yoghurt baths. He will make a full recovery.
