Fair play would be the only acceptable alternative.

Given Platini stated he wanted more teams from the 'lesser' nations to qualify, that would be a bit hypocritical.
Just dump the Portugese spots down in line. Easy.

It would be a joke if AC crept in through the backdoor again.
All the more dodgy after the fuss about England having five teams in the the competition a few years ago - it cannot happen! But we'll see...

Due to financial problems CSKA Sofia have today been denied a license to play in the Bulgarian league and the Bulgarian FA (BFU) has now stated that they will contact UEFA to request that they be expelled from the Champions League too.

Decision to exclude Porto from next seasons Champions League has been overturned pending a new enquiry.

Now they've been booted from the CL too, I wonder if any of their players are worth taking a look at.
