2008-2009 Fixtures In CSV Format

by Warfield Royal » 16 Jun 2008 20:18

So sorry for the delay, I started a new job today, I have created the Reading FC 2008-2009 fixtures in CSV format for importing into Outlook.

http://www.zen6659.zen.co.uk/ReadingFC/2008-2009/ReadingFC2008-2009.csv

To download, right click the link above and select 'Save target as...'

I guessed the kick-off times and I have included the Carling Cup and FA Cup fixtures but the kick-off times are probably the WRONG times and some of the dates look suspect too, especially the Carling Cup Semi dates.

Use this at your own risk. No responsibility is accepted for the accuracy of the data or what you do to your computer.

This file is created for Outlook 2003 and I assume that if you use this file then you know what you are doing.

Before starting the import I suggest that you create a backup of your calendar. Do this by creating a new calendar folder, going to your regular calendar, change the view to All Appointments, select all your appointments, do a drag and drop copy to the backup calendar.

I suggest that if you import into Outlook then you create a new Calendar folder called ReadingFC 2007-2008 and import into that folder and if the import is successful then copy the entries to your main calendar.

Here is a quick tutorial on how to do the import (I created the pictures last season so don't get your hopes up when you look at the last picture).

There is an ics version (iCal) already creatied for subscription service (that will update every season) at

http://www.philrawlings.com/Reading/Rea ... xtures.ics

Please note that the update service will only work if you subscribe, not just download and install yourself.

It will probably work but I suggest that you make a test import into a new calendar folder to be sure.
