I would be surprised if we sell more than 1500-2000 more tickets from people who firstly haven't renewed yet, and new applicants
-------
Which would take us up to the 14k figure which seems to be the one most people are talking about !!

Anyone else remember when 12,000 was a great crowd?
-------
I certainly remeber people getting very excited when we started getting 10,000 + crowds consistently !
A 10k crowd was a major event in EP days

I don't know if this is relevant as perspective, but Norwich reached their 20,000 season ticket limit more than a week ago.

Just a bigger club with a more loyal and larger fan base, no comparison to reading really.

That may be true but I am happy with that outcome. If we can get 20,000 gates at the start of the season that will be a good result. It will also be nice to be able to get tickets on the day of the game (that is what will happen right?).

That's correct. Not sure if the 18K upper limit applies on ST's if we are allocating all the south stand to the away supporters. Any seats not taken up will obviously go to general sale. There has to be a set percentage of seats which go as ticket only. Probably 15 to 16K is more realistic even on half season ticket uptake.

Excellent. The rich detritus have been cleared out leaving the middle class poor like me to take their place (sometimes).

We may end up with 11,762 and we may end up with +13,000. The good news is that these loyal royals are pretty much certain to turn up every week. Used to make me chuckle last year when they announced a +24,000 crowd with hundreds of empty seats (season ticket holders who came to Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool all missing !) all around the ground.
Good loyal fan base in attendance every week. Just need a good start to the seasons and we'll have some good crowds again. Can't wait to get going again even if no clue what the day 1 eleven will be. On that note;

- Sad to see Little go. Marek you need to entertain me now ! Tough boots to fill I'd say but you can do it !
- Glad that Sonko wants to go. Said though with due respect to his efforts for the club over the past 4 years. Not a Prem player so if we can sell him for good money then happy days.

What other twists and turns await us :-)
