Elm PArk
Billy The Fish Has anybody actually asked the ticket office if they can renew an existing ST but for another person? I can't see why they wouldn't be amenable to this. It's not like there's going to be a waiting list this year!

Why don't you do what I did and email them. As my son is off to Uni in September they let me 'renew' his ticket but in my wife's name.

I know some people have had problems with the TO but whenever I have had a query or problem they have been more then helpful. I just wish some other companies I deal with at work were as helpful, they could learn a lot from the Club.

The seat next to me has been renewed for the second season running by 2 different people but at the renew price not new price. It was painless both times.

Quite agree, I've always found the staff at the TO to be excellent. Any problems are often caused by the rather inadequate systems they have been forced to work with until quite recently. Hopefully the new system is more flexible.

That's an excuse for me to add a +1. Moved seats last week, and once again enjoyed a friendly, painless transaction. I know it's not rocket science but good, friendly service is always appreciated.

Top notch service for me this morning. Got through to an agent in about 5 minutes and then able to move my season ticket and buy a new season ticket for the girlfriend at the same time. Not a problem.

If only every call centre was a good as that!

The ticket office seem to be working hard to rid themselves of the amateur, sluggish, shoddy and utter incompetence that is often associated with them.

It's more than in previous years (in fact, up to the departure of a specific manager at RFC) they tired to do too much and to be too clecer, so there was much too much scope for confusion.

Over the past few years they've basically concentrated just on selling tickets and being good at that.

Very impressive! I didn't expect that many. I thought maybe 12,000 at a push.

14,000 is pretty pleasing given we're still a month and a bit away from the start of the season. That's hit my purely finger in the air personal target !
Got to be thinking it'll be 15k come the start of the season which would mean 20k regular attendances probably guaranteed.

Well done to the fickle, plastic, glory hunting fans....

I renewed mine online and it still says the purchase status is pending, I've received no notification that my season ticket has been renewed and I'v e-mailed the club on a number of occasions and have still not received a response from them. Anyone else in a similar position?

Yep my account says the same - but they have taken my money so as far as I am concerned they better process our season tickets.

Seeing as when I phoned up about moving my seat I was told that the new cards wouldn't be sent out until the middle of July I would venture that most if not all of the renewals / new STH's are in the same boat...

Season tickets won't be sent out until all movers have been finalised. Also those with Prem logo on their ST will also presumably get a new reprint. When this has all settled down then we get our tickets. There is nothing to worry about in relation to money coming out of our accounts. The fun starts on the first home game with ironing out the glitches in the reissues. This always seems to happen to a few individuals.

Not sure why the club would want to waste money on a reprint, particularly as we are going straight back to the PL!

Seriously though, the cards only see the light of day for a couple of seconds every other week, so what does it matter what is printed on them?! If the PL are petty enough to insist on the change - send them the bill!!

I had a new ST with the Prem logo sent out to me last year despite not moving my seat in the north stand. This season i have moved so i can sit with my daughter. Better comunication from the ticket office would sort out these issues.

It does very clearly say in the ST Information pack that you should retain your 07-08 card as a new one will not be issued.

I appreciate this may not be the issue you are referring to though !

Got an e-mail back from the club

The reason why it says pending online is because we have not ran a batch to activate the season ticket card for next season. This will obviously be done before the season starts.

I was mainly concerned because the address that the club have for me is different to the billing address for my credit card which caused a problem when I renewed online. In previous seasons I have renewed by post the club have been impressively quick in acknowledging the renewal and I was concerned that I had not heard anything after a month.
