Whore Jackie
Avon Royal The thing about Norwich is that they always announce the crowd as the number of tickets sold, rather than the number of people actually at the game.

Isn't that what Reading do? Pretty sure they count STHs as omni-present.

It's been traditional for decades for clubs to count season ticket holders whether they are there or not. It dates back to the days when crowds were virtually always pay on the day and they didn't have turnstiles linked to a computer. It meant that if you had a capacity of 20,000 and 2000 STHs, you had to always allow for the possibility of all 2000 STHs turning up, so you could only let in 18,000 through the other turnstiles, with STHs normally having their own turnstiles.

I think Burnley used to publish both tickets sold and actual attended for their games a few years ago, and to be honest, there wasn't a lot of difference usually.

Up until a couple of years ago RFC used to publish numbers through the turnstiles, but then this policy changed, and I think it was down to PL regulations.

Don't know, but I've been on the phone for half an hour waiting to get through.

Add a +1 to that as i have just bought a season ticket. Can't wait for the season to begin after missing out on the last few seasons.

11764 and counting...

When I phoned yesterday there were 25 callers in front of me presumably all getting their season tickets too. So let's make it-

11789

Maybe they were demanding a refund following the departure of Big Glenn Little!

Sorry this may have been asked before, but can you transfer your existing points from your member card to your season ticket? or isit done automatically because you still have the same customer number?

I'm not sure I even have the same customer number, urz. They're sending me a new card. I'd have thought it was just transferred over automatically though.

Your member card IS your season ticket - so nothing changes about your points total.

The only difference is that it'll say Season Ticket and have your seat number on instead of just Member Card.

Might I suggest that the Season Ticket IS the member card?
