SLAMMEDpapereyes So that's one central midfielder for next season. Yippee.
Is Gunnarsson playing upfront next season then?
I hope not.

Ideal A season in the championship will be good for him, then next season he'll have built a lot of confidence.

There's an embedded optimism in your post mate. What are you predicting top two or top six?
Well, I can see us finishing top two, but I guess it depends a little on what happens in the transfer market.
If we don't sign a defensive midfielder I don't see us progressing, and I think it's quite strange that we haven't already.

TBM You gotta remember he joined us from an average team in the Czech that had a capacity of 5,000 - so playing infront of 15,000+ in the Championship wont bother him unlike others who believe they are Premiership footballers!

Being from Czech republic and being a fan of his former club, I can say the average number of visitors to Mlada Boleslav club is only around 2-3k per match. When we played with Villareal there was not more then 4k people. Our stadium gets rarely sold out. So for him to play in the front of 15k people its still very great.
Anyway, hi to all readings fans.
Due Mark I watched some of Readings games last season and I realy wish you didnt went down into Championship.

Hoop Blah Matejovsky might be ahead of schedule but it sounds like Gunarsson might be struggling.

When was the last time Brynar was fit and available for selection? January was it?
He'll be 33 just a couple of months into the new season and I can see him follow a Glenn Little battle against injury for the next season.

As posted on another thread - he's only a couple of years older than he was last time round. Its not like he's going to be a touch more injury prone, a touch slower. IMO, we should get rid, give him a nice carriage clock and find a younger replacement.
Proactive > pissing around hoping for the best.
