Kes LOL @ that mock up being the colchester kit originally.

He openly admitted he took it from that.

Rumours suggest that Spacey and rfcfan13 are the closest with their home and away shirts respectively.

That's a shame. I really want the page 9 kit tbh. I realise that it's based on a Nike design, but maybe that just says to RFC that next time the contract is up they need to look at Nike. Or Adidas actually. They make good basic looking kits too.

Totally agree. Been banging on here for ages that we should use the Nike Celtic home kit as a benchmark for ours. The last two or three incarnations have been superb.

Nike, for me, are the best in the business. They respect the club's heritage, don't bother with too much superfluous rubbish, just add the occasional considered design detail. The Dutch Euro kit a case in point. Puma don't come close.

Rhys The Royal Are we getting a new away kit?

Yes.

Last seasons will become the third choice kit as is the case now each summer.

Next summer will see the black n grey kit finish it's 2 year stint and the new away kit will become third choice so the club can bleed us dry with another new away kit next summer.

Are you sure they're changing the black and grey kit from Kyocera to Waitrose? Seems like an awful lot of hassle for it never to be seen. Anyone know how long the Puma deal is? And Waitrose have only signed for 12 months, so all the kits may completely change for 2009/10.

BLOLeeding us dry.

Here's an idea. Don't buy it.

Do you remember the white shirts? The ones we wore at Leicester to secure promotion? The previous season it had a different sponsor on it.....

Yep, you’re right. Though a choice of blue and white or dark navy was always going to be problematic at Leicester.
That’s not going to be an issue this season, if the orange rumours are true.

This is why we haven't made any signings- they can't pose with the shirt!

Geekins Look of the new kit will be released on Fri 11th July - From Readingfc.co.uk. Marcus, Long and Cisse posing in black tops. No giveaway

Season ticket holders can enter a competition to view the kit release party.

My kids are having a right old moan about the OS. They entered the Young Royals competition to be at the launch of the new kit.

Whilst I think they understand that as they haven't heard from the club they haven't won an invite they've checked the site yesterday and today to see who did but the info's not posted as promised

Dont blame the kids for having a moan.

If you promose something on a certain date you should deliver! We all have targets to reach. Reading FC obviously do not! Bad form.
