How much was he signed for?

Sorry if I've missed it but haven't been able to find the sum.

Well its only fair that we all give the lad a chance, he has done well up here with Dundee United and deserves our support, whether everyone agrees or not he is a Reading player now, quick and fiesty with a good eye for goal, he had a good scoring record at tannadice, so lets all hope he can continue that here, and he can take penalties..............with success !!

Looking farther ahead for a fee of approx only £650,000,,,,,,,,,,, (let me see £5.5m - £650,000 =£4.85m)

That leaves so much to spend on another few purchases, a nice rembrandt or Stradivarius maybe, or even another player !!

Why would we be playing Noal on the right when he is a striker bought to replace Kitson?

numpty.

Very pleased we've made a signing. Hopefully the lad will come good.

LOL @ everyone calling ~£600k cheap. We're not in the premier league any more chaps and we've broken £1m less than 10 times. Thats a decent sized fee.

We are capable of multi millions, but only on players who will be something very special. Why pay more than you have to?

Just hope they remember to leave the London Irish goal posts out if his shots on goal are anything like his brother's.

How much is the fee? Heard it was £900k but reading more like £650k a few posts above me

In relative terms then, we've signed a Carl Asaba, not even a Martin Butler

Ridiculous comment.

That would make Long a Neville Roach.

Rather than wasting time calling people numpty, maybe you should spend it reading the start of this thread.

On that basis it is quite conceivable that we might play him on the right side of midfield, particularly as we have three other happy strikers.

If he scores 20 goals for us this season the size of fee is immaterial.
Lets give him a chance before assuming that he's no good just because the fee is not multi millions

We've bought him for right wing because some journo put him there in a team of the season?

Yeah ok.

Hey, Coppell bought Convey without even having seen him play live.

Go figure.
