I would say it doesn't matter how many appearances they make - just the impact they made.

Which is why I would go for Jim Leighton because his performances kept us up and relaunched his career even though he was only on loan to us.

Would also have to include Super Trev, Gilksey, Deano (Horrix not Morgan), Shaka, Hicksy, Dariusz (Wdowczyk not Henderson) Dave Madman, Colin 'Nut Him' Bailie and little Stevie Rich

For me Trevor Senior is an absolute legend, the guy`s a god, completing a hat trick against Donny rovers I think, climbing the fence at the Tilehurst end and pumping his fist at the crowd in sheer joy-Legend . Also Phil Parkinson, when there was a pitch invasion at the Brighton game(end of 93/94 season), being a young whippersnapper I shot onto the pitch like a good `un. The big man came into view and I gave him the biggest man hug I could muster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gay or what?

Since Ive been watching:

Parkinson, Murty, Harper, Kitson, Sidwell, Adie Williams, Shaka, Hahnemann, Gilkes, Wdowczyk & Little (just).

Many others I think were great, and I loved, but that doesn't automatically make them a legend.

Shorey would have been in there. But he's dissapointed me a lot recently. Hopefully if he stays he can win back his right to my hall of Reading Legends.

PS: I'm more than happy to be educated about more Legends pre '95. Possibles that spring to mind: Dixon, Webb, Sanchez, Bowman, Curle. I just don't know enough about their time here.
