0-2 Reading.

Lita + Kebe.

Forest will come out firing, but if Tyson does not play, our defense will keep them out.

Truly horrible wake-up call for Forest (0-3), creating an unprecedented and ridiculous spasm of negative chitter-chatter on all their messageboards.

Great thread over at the Notts Forest fans site...

http://www.forestforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=27612.0

Some great nuggets to chew over..

* Forest 0-3 Reading.

Unfortunately I think Reading will play far more disciplined football than us and will carve through our team like a knife through butter.

* 0 - 4

Absolute battering by reading. Shorey 2, Lita 2

Earnshaw will break his leg.

* I think we'll get a draw, and that'll be a great result.

For my money, Reading will win this division. We obviously still have work to do and even if we lose, it isn't necessarily the start of a bad season.

Forest 0 Vs Royal 2

Don't care who scores.

HNA flooded the next day with posts saying how brilliant we are, how great SC is, how JM has been following a brilliant off-season transfer policy, etc, etc. Positivity lasts until someone posts a "Predictions for Plymouth" thread!

I went to the Forest v Everton pre season game and although nothing like playing competitive football I think they will create loads of chances and score 0. We will create few chances and score 1. If Earnshaw scores I will be so pissed off - he's a donkey.

1-2 Royals.

Harper will run the game, causing me to seeth with quiet indignation. Doyle will work the channels hard and with greater success than in the Prem, probably winning a penalty after diving under a half-challenge. Lita will fall over a lot, play like shit, but still score and celebrate like he's Pele.

Then we'll lose to Plymouth.

Forest 0 V 3 Reading ( Lita 2, Ingi)

We are far better than forest and if we dont beat them then we don't deserve to go back up

2-1 Forest after we take the lead in the second minute through James Harper.

2-2, 2-0 down first half, a half time rollocking from SC and a slightly better 2nd half, a 25 yarder from Harper that takes 17 deflections (a la Frank Lampard) and an 85th minute Kevin Doyle power header. :o

Cue utter depression from all corners.
