2.8 lita injection 25th.

I am not a doom merchant.

I did think of adding in a couple of options for:

In Administration
Automatic Relegation to League 2

Why to leauge 2? :P Is going down one league not enough?

Well being relegated 2 divisions has almost happened to a couple of clubs recently and some people seem to be really defeatist/pessimistic.

Ian Royal
PlasticRoyale Spreads have Reading priced at 72-74

I have no idea what that means. :|

As has already been said it's the bid/sell price for total points. It actually puts Reading as second favourites to QPR

Very true Vision most of us are between the camps, I am optimistic, and looking ahead, however I do still have fears that SC has not got the squad right, this may cause an imbalance in some areas, then again he may have it right, and all the worries of the STG must be well over the top.

Personally I am looking forwards, and hope to see RFC in the Prem again before too long.

Didn't SDR coin the RTG acronym?

rfcjoe I voted automatic as I think we'll be too strong for most teams and we have the team spirit and quality to do it.

Interesting (or not) fact for you.

Reading are yet to finish a season, excluding the top tier (which has less games), this century with less than 70 points.

It's been a good decade so far.

winchester_royal
earleyroyal As of now I'm going top 10, missing out on the playoffs in the last game. The position may drop if we lose any more players and don't replace them adequately.

w_r care to name these centre backs who are good enough for the Prem?

Ingimarsson, arguably Duberry - too slow
Sonko - lost it
Bikey - would agree
Cisse - can't head it

And you also think that Matejovsky > Earnshaw, McFadden, Carsley to name a few off the top of my head?

Earnshaw????????

McFadden maybe.....Carsley no.

Lets not forget MM is a czech internaional.

BK, Sonko (on his day), Doobs, and Pearce (potentially) could all do a job in prem

Earnshaw who scored 27 in 45 CCC games at Norwich, and repeatedly murked us at Cardiff? Yes.

Wouldn't argue with Bikey or Duberry (although he might be a little too old to cut it at the top level). Pearce is unproven, Sonko has had it and will never be Prem quality player again. It's not easy to recover from a cruciate ligament injury and he's lost some pace which spells disaster for him.

Judging by the performance at home to Villa I reckon we are in for a good shout of a successful season.

Friendlies mean NOTHING.

I keep thinking we'll be shit but then I remember how utterly pony The Championship is, so we might be okay.
