howser At what point in todays match did we see Kebe take the ball down the flanks and draw players in and go round them, he was never in a month of Sundays a Premiership player and on todays performance he is nowhere near a Championship player, he was pretty ropey throughout, and in reality most others on here will agree. No critisism of Kebe he can only produce what his skill level allows him to, the problem is with the scouting network who somehow thought he was, at the least a Premiership player.

Completely agree with all of that!our signings over the last 18 months have been distinctly average, kebe, cisse even rosenior has not convinced me yet!

juanpablo the whole midfield and forward line were bad

imo he played better than Harper and Convey but then it really isnt saying much

poor from everything north of the defence

As your opinion is clearly utter rubbish I'll not bother with taking any notice of it.

Thank you, that is so kind of you.

ps. I haven't been called young man (except in jest) for about 35 years now - so thanks for that too.

I am signing in because I do not think Jimmy Kebe is a good player.

Thanks.

Fair play to Jimmy Kebe, in an utterly dump game, his sheer incompetence and crapness kept me entertained throughout the day.

Kebe genuinely worried Forest a couple of times today when he opened his legs and just charged at them, waltzing past challenges.....and then playing an absolutely atrocious final ball. The unknown factor might prove Kebe to be a useful tool for us at times this season - the Forest defence were only marginally less clueless than Kebe himself as to what he was going to do next - but his abject laziness in failing to make at least a token effort to challenge for an aerial ball twice in the last five minutes was bloody pathetic to be honest.

Dear SSC - I'd rather not have a blatant "last 10 mins against tiring legs and that's about it" player starting any more games this season, thanks very much.

The only joke is you AP.

The fact you are blaming a poor team performance on Kebe is plin daft. If anything he looked like the only player capable of lightening up the game. Yes, his final ball and passing isn't brilliant, but if it was he'd be playing in the prem.

How about having a go at Harper and Convey who were 10 times, and 5 times worse respectively.

As if you look elsewhere you will see I have said the same, I haven't once said that I blamed the poor performance on Jimmy Kebe personally, he was a big part of the problem, nice use of fictional quotes.

Just, he was shit.

winchester_royal . Yes, his final ball and passing isn't brilliant,

About sums it up. On that performance he should be nowhere near our reserve team let alone our first team.

Sad fact is, it appears he is the best we have got in the position at the monent......says it all about Reading FC at the moment.

Yeah, never mind the final ball and the passing being atrocious, this boy can run. Perhaps he should be in Beijing instead.

It's a shame he just forgets to take the ball with him when he does it.

I think if he drew more opposition players with him when he ran - it could be a cunning ploy!!

In what can only be described as an absolute dire game, I can't see that Kebe was worse than any other Reading player. He made the most inspirational run of the game before he was tackled and Doyle fell over his feet. He may not have been better than any of the others, but he was by no means the worst player on the pitch. In a shite game, he was average.
