Apart from the distant posibility that the crowds reactions increased Osters own pressure on himself to perform I don't see any evidence to suggest thats true.
If Oster can't withstand a little criticism from the crowd following misplaced pass after misplaced pass and after yet another opposition left winger strolled past him to an exposed fullback then he shouldn't be a professional footballer.
Coppell never saw him as good enough to keep Little or Seol out of the side. With that in mind he didn't want to offer him another contract to keep him around the club when he'd seen enough to know he wasn't the answer. I can understand that decision, but in reality I don't think it has anything to do with the crowds treatment of him (which is very overstated on here anyway).
