Drew, I think this is what you were talking about:

Rev Algenon Stickleback H showing my age (and the fact that despite the hype, the 70s charts were chock full of pap like now) but when I saw that opening line my first thought was Abba's gimme gimme gimme a man after midnight. Clearly I couldn't have been more wrong, which is a shame as that song could give you...

Kebe Kebe Kebe
Our man running the right
going past defenders
and crossing the ball
the club that he'd been loaned to
said we couldn't have him
Bologne wanted money
but we gave them f*** all

actually, so far those lyrics are more of a hope than an observation.

I've no idea about the linked song though. Doesn't really sound like a tune a crowd could sing.

He Plays on the right

Lol both those song are complete shit. Why labour remembering different songs for each player, just clap and say the player name over and over again.

because that is the way plastic supporters chant. we need chants for players at least seeing as though we cant even produce a club chant

To let the wonderful people on hobnob know my highly valuable opinions
Anymay i've got my own idea for a song:

Kebe sort him out,
kebe kebe sort him out

I think it works better with kebe instead of sonko

From the Undertones

Little Stevie's boy
He wasn't very old
Though he was very tall
He'd play hot and cold

Jimmy Jimmy
Jimmy Jimmy - Oooh
Jimmy Jimmy
Poor little Jimmy give us a goal

He'd jink left and right
And cross for a head
But no-one ever understood
A single word he said

Jimmy Jimmy ...

Stevie's boy
Stevie's boy
Stevie's boy
Catch our Stevie's boy

Jimmy Jimmy ...

Now little Jimmy's gone
He's disappeared one day
The Valley didn't notice him
Because we're playing away

Jimmy Jimmy...

::: unlurk :::

That's great, that. Even if it's just the chorus, over and over again, it's still great.

I think we should have a Rosie and Jim song for Rosenior and Kebe.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZN-HQqpZ3lg

Rosey and Jim, Rosey and Jim,
Running along down the right hand side...

Weak I know, but you get the idea.
