Man Friday
Woodcote Royal Whilst this doesn't excuse Coppell releasing Oster

Yes it does. In fact, anything and everything excuses Coppell from "releasing" Oster (not that excuses are needed).

What utter "Let's all hate Oster" nonsense.

We started this season with one largley untried right winger.

If Coppell didn't want Oster anymore he should have replaced him for the start of season just as he should have bought a left back whether Shorey was still here or not.

Alan Partridge On that particular post yes, however if you go through the guy is world class according to juanpablo. We all have our favourites and if he turns out to be a top player then we know who would have told us all first. Personally he's got a long way to go yet.

wow you get a lot of respect on this site for somebody that completely makes things up, thread title sums my feelings up , he is a good player....

One decent performance and it's LOLs a plenty at others, This could to and fro on the weekly basis!
:P

well Alan this was my comment on the Forest game

"the whole midfield and forward line were bad

imo he played better than Harper and Convey but then it really isnt saying much

poor from everything north of the defence"

but carry on simply making things up

No way was Kebe "embarrassing" at Forest. Did you miss that volley he did before he was ruled offside?

i didn't miss him not putting a single cross in, or the time (twice) when the ball was aimed at him yet he was looking the other way, that's before we get onto him falling on his arse. The Forset left back was their worst player, he will not have an easier game all season.

He was very good on Saturday, absolute crap at Forest and along with Harper our worst player. He's got something, whether he can produce consistently remains to be seen. I doubt it personally but we'll see.

Yes, we will see, I'm hoping he can improve (i.e. get even better) on his Saturday performance.

Of all the things I would use to defend him, him standing 2 yards offside before twatting the ball right at the keeper would be somewhere down the list.

NWL Royal Jimmy Kebe is strictly come average.

context is important

average in terms of humanity?
average in terms of people playing football at all levels?
average at championship level?
or average at prem level?

Didnt look worth two bob last season.

Showed glimpses of class in the Forest game although was pants at other times.

Although i didnt see the game, from what i heard on the radio, Jimmy was sounding like he had a very good game.

I think he has the potential, skill and pace to be one of the best wingers in the league along with Larsson, Mcfadden, Convey and Hunt. He just needs to get a good run in the first team and find some consistency.

Rather like some of the threads last season.

Win a game and its "We're staying up".

Well that turned out alright, didn't it.

like the negatives will ever take more than one game to slag a player off
your double standards astound me.

no ones laughing at people who said they werent sure kebe would be any good for us, its still to be proven either way, you are right its only one game-im certainly not gettying carried away
they are however laughing heartily, and justifiably at those who said after one game vs arsenal that he would never ammount to anything other than a pub player
because hes already proven them wrong

I don't think I've ever 'slagged a player off'.

If I don't think he played well, I'll say so.

If I don't think he's good enough to play a position for a season, I'll say so.

But you read whatever it is you want to read into my comments. I won't stop you.
