papereyesSouthbank Old Boypeeping bernal Kitson was wanted out by the club as he was becoming disruptive, so they just hung on to get the best price possible, Doyle is a player they saw as the future for the club, hence the high price on his head and him still been here.
What are you basing that on?
What I heard, about third hand and pieced together from posts on here, was that Kitson got distruptive because he felt he was surrounded by, well, to put it politely, pricks who didn't care.
It worries me that we let him go ...

TBMnickbob_sexypants Doyle himself,
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12876_4029282,00.html, It could be that an offer will come in and Reading will reject it...
I saw his interview after the Ireland game and he said that he needs to play Premiership football to be in contention for the ireland squad - personally i dont agree, what other strikers do Ireland have that ARE in the premiership (bar Robbie Keane)

Streets If Keane's stupid enough to pay over the odds for Doyle then yes please.
Would like Stokes in part exchange though.

andrew1957 SC has just confirmed on the OS that Doyle is going nowhere. The player may "want" to go but RFC do not have to accept an offer and unless at the last minute someone offers "£10M or so - why would we accept a bid.
And realistically no one will pay £10M for a player who has scored once in 8 months. If Doyle goes it will be in January - hence why we have bought Mooney to give him 6 months to get up to scratch just in case Doyle or Lita go then.

Tbh though Coppell doesn't like players at the club who want to be elsewhere, for example Shorey.

Why should he play if he has said things like this.
'I would expect something to happen before the transfer window closes'
How about you concentrate on scoring a goal so we can begin to expect promotion!!!
I would of expected these comments from Lita rather than Doyle
Lita and N.Hunt for me

rg6royal Again, Coppell Doesn't like players who don't want to be here and by the sounds of it Doyle doesn't. So I won't be surprised if he does go.
