Hahnemann
Rosenior, Sonko, Pearce, Hunt
Kebe, Harper, Karacan, Convey
Hunt, Lita

Fed, Cisse, Long, Mooney, Henry

To halt your outraged splutters, No Ivar because he hasn't seemed up to his usual standard from what I've seen this season. Bikey instead of Pearce if he has been back training for us for at least a week, which I don't think he has.

Hunt at left back because I wouldn't want to bring in a player we signed 3 or 4 days before to a game like Palace, especially when playing a less experienced centreback alongside Sonko. He's for the next game.

No Doyle on the bench because I think he needs at least a couple of weeks in the reserves to refind himself.

Karacan and NHunt are the only crucial changes for me. Cisse has had 1 good performance in midfield, and that wasn't especially excellent. Doyle has no confidence and whilst his work rate can't faulted, doesn't seem to want it enough either right now.

I would be stunned if Armstrong didn't play at full back. What on Earth is the point of buying him if he isn't going to play? Other players from abroad I can understand, not Armstrong. We've bought him to play full back, play him.

i think after 1 training day with the club that it was too soon to put anyone into the team, regardless of where theyre from

dont get me wrong-id love to see him play
and get hunt onto the LW
but, sensibly i dont think it would work

id be ecstatic if copps disagreed and put him straight in too.

It really does depend on how much training he does with other players. Otherwise there's not much point in sticking him in straightaway without him having a chance to get accustomed to other players in the team. I read on the official site that he had to go up north today to sort out a few things (presumably selling his house?) and will be in training tomorrow. So that's presumably two days of training before Saturday, is that enough?

I'd suggest football is a bit more complex than turning up at a club and then playing in an important first team match a few days later. Especially as a defender. He'll not start against Palace, but he should start the game after that, unless Hunt and Convey have an absolute blinder of a game.

Can you imagine if he wasn't ready or up to speed and had a 'mare? I can. I think I'd have to avoid HNA for more than a day. Probably a week at least.

I've barely looked at HNA in th elast couple of days I know he isn't ffs.

He was suspended against Luton. Doesn't matter whether he'd have played or not. 2nd yellow = 1 match domestic ban.

And it's been stated in the thread that he's not suspended.

For the umpteenth time, NO! He has already served his 1 match ban by missing the game last night. If you don't believe me, then read this: http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/pa ... 18,00.html !

So sonks is available he has to start with pearcey. Ivar is one of the roots of our problem. He'a slow, gets turned too easily, crap on the deck. With sonks and pearce we have pace which is whay we've been lacking!

Pearce isn't much faster than Ivar.

How come you haven't taken any notice of the loads of posts and threads saying he would miss only Luton - you seem to have posted in virtually every other one.

If you can't see Peacey is quicker than ivar then i doubt your eyesight. Pearcey is very quick over short distances and as we saw last night, he doesn't get turned.
