Hahnemann. He hasn't got a clue where the ball is going so it'll keep the oppo guessing

This has shades of the late seventies much of the eighties about it. Our most used attacking tactic was for Steve Richardson to hurl a long throw towards Martin Hicks. What do we have now? Sonks has scored 3 times - twice from set pieces and the other immediately following one. How long will it take for the other teams in this league to suss that one out? We desperately need some variety as we are becoming too predictable.

We've now essentially scored from about 5 corners. Thats as many as a fair few teams manage in a season. What we need to do is start threatening decent opposition in open play.

This thread is also about shots from direct free kicks, not corners or crosses from free kicks.

West Stand Man Now that Shorey is no more, who have we got to provide a realistic threat from set pieces in the shooting gallery just outside the penalty area?

how many goals did shorey score direct from a free kick?

I don't know - but every goal counts and if we have no-one to take advantage of the clear goalscoring opportunity that represents a gap in our capability. (Mind you, finding a penalty taker might be a good place to start!)
