Streets I don't recall us ever playing in League 2. I do remember Division 3 however.
And for the record, I enjoyed football far more back then!
I wasn't around back then

RoyaleeRoyal Lady Jordan does indeed not like Coppell. He's also a smug, egocentric. Surprised he doesn't get on better with Mr Mad to be honest.
LOL, you're an utter moron.

That's what I was referring to.
Fair enough if you love underachievement, maybe that's where we differ - I don't see the point in going to football to see us play crap, if I cared that little about RFC then I'd have chosen the spend a lot more time at the pub over the years on Saturday afternoons.
you moron.underachievement

Streets We will never get Watson while he is at Palace.
Our approach was rejected out of hand.
They wont do business with us.
Could be as said already, the Wally vs Warnock thing (I doubt it)
More likely Jordan disliking Coppell maybe.
But either way, never gunna happen.
Give 'em both hell on Saturday!

It wasn't long ago that your sources had apparently confirmed that 2 bids had been rejected by palace and Reading were told to come back with an offer nearer 1.5 million. Thats totally different to palace saying they "wont do business" with you! Palace i'm sure will "do business" with any club that comes up with an acceptable off.
UTDSTEVEStreets I only know we had 2 bids knocked back. They seem to want nearer £2m for him and our evaluation doesn't come close to that.
I'd love us to sign him, but if he was to leave Palace for a figure in the region of £1m, I think they'd rather hold onto him for one final year.
Reading have not had any bids knocked back because the FACT is they have not made any!

I was told we made a couple of approaches. Floyd backed that up earlier too. So my fat friend down the pub wasn't wrong. He did though say those approaches led to bids that were knocked back out of hand.UTDSTEVEStreets I only know we had 2 bids knocked back. You PM'd me saying your source was reliable, yet if you read Floyd's thread in The Team, it might shed light on your mate maybe not knowing as much as he thought.
You were quite adamant we made no approach at all.

Streets Unitedsteve.
I can, like you, onlt say what I heard and a reliable poster on her has backed what I heard up about the approaches. I also heard we put two bids to Palace and both we knocked back instantly. That I don't know has been confirmed by anyone and could just be nonfounded.
You though cliamed we hadn't been near Palace regarding Watson, and you were wrong.
At ease.

FiNeRaIn lol@ reading for always claiming they " conduct business the right way", as if they are trying to get respect from the football world. Why is it palace won't do business with us? Because we have an idiot of a coach.
