Royalee Leroy 'I point and dive a lot and mouth off in the press so I must be as good as I think I am despite not having scored a league goal in over a year' Lita.

If you look at Shevchenko's goalscoring record at Chelsea, you'd find it's around one in three. As for Rooney, two league titles and a Champions League winners medal isn't too bad for someone in their early 20s.

A bit OTT to post it again just to correct two to too. Surely an update would have been easier?

Couple of people over the weekend said that Hull have had a £2m bid accepted.

Not a chance.

There it is, that's why I don't like you, you're immature yourself with comments like that.

What constitutes "great" in your mind then? If you can up with a definition of great that Lita has a chance of fitting into then I'd be surprised - if you can then I'd just make the observation that Sci-Fi comic books must have done a great job expanding your imagination.

I'd probably take that, providing someone else is brought in of course, Nugent from Pompey would be my preferred choice.

How many times do you need to be told that Nugent has stated that he does not want to move to the CCC. So what's the point of pining after him? Go for something more realistic.

Hampshire Royal Or Hartlepool, Darlington, Carlisle......

...or Hull City? SC stitching up his main trouble-makers* of last season by off-loading them onto doomed teams - you've got to admire the man if he pulls off the hat-trick!

*Fae excepted.

Idiot.

Lita is not the sort of player Coppell can manage, simple as. Litas ability is simply being restricted by his manager and his style of management . You'll see the right manager get the best out of him, unfortunately that is not Coppell. It happens, doesn't mean he can't and won't be a great player.

Your faith in our disfunctional, misfiring little striker who never strikes is commendable and long-lasting, particularly in the face of ever-mounting evidence to the contrary, but please, just for me, define "great" in the context you use it so I might understand how good you think he is. You know, great as in the class of a Leon Knight, a Nathan Tyson, a Paul Dickov perhaps, or a Thierry Henry, Ruud Van Nistelrooy or Michael Owen?

Ever mounting evidence? Don't get played, can't score. Guess that could be called evidence. This of a striker who not that long ago was receiving a letter from the FA congratulating him on how well he had played for England U21s in the Euro Champs.

My money's still on him proving you wrong, whether at RFC or whichever club we offload him to for a couple more million quid.

He might do better at another club. He scored quite a few for Charlton when he went on loan there - more than anyone was doing here at the time anyway.

Lita to Hull??

by PLASTIC PIG » 01 Sep 2008 14:47

I have a friend in Hull who just phoned me to ask if Lita was any good. Apparently (unless he's winding me up) he's having a medical up there at the moment. Could be a wind up. Anybody else heard about this because i'll be honest i've looked & can't find it anywhere.

Few of these rumours going about today and yesterday.

Good. One persistant trouble maker on his way to Hull.

Just hope we bring someone in and do not rely on Shane Long.

If the rumours about City going for Berba and Villa are true, perhaps we should try and sign Danny Sturridge or Ched Evans on loan.

Sturridge who's been superb for City so far this season?

Michael Chopra please, but it's be Shane LOLong (Bananaman)to the rescue...

Hasn't Chopra had some sort of mental breakdown?
