Spud Rest assured , did I not read last week that squeaky had identified some "targets" if we where to lose some players at the last minute .
Less than an hour to go get that target.
Great.

RoyalBluehowser The outcome of the Everton interest in Stephen Hunt will once and for all put some belief and understanding to the chairmans often used words " this shows the ambition of the club" I await with interest.
Don't want to worry you but here is a quote from Mr Howe straight from 'A Decade of Dreams':
"Relegation (from PL) might turn out to be not too much of a bad thing because sometimes you need a bit of checking of your speed to make sure you're not taking too many chances or growing too fast. Perhaps our ambitions have got ahead of us a bit. This will give us a chance to examine ourselves and go forward again in the future........"
So how keen do you think the likes of JM & NH really are for an immediate return to the PL?!

TBM Do managers/clubs HAVE to be available today/tonight - what if nobody was around to pick up the faxes or answer their mobile?....or do rules state you have to answer clubs?

Sarah Star Dirk, is there nothing you don't know about football? Can we ask you anything? You should have your own 'Ask Dirk' thread.

Sarah Star Well, yes, I suppose it was, but I have a list of questions I'd like answered and I was looking for someone who was up to the job without laughing at me and/or making comments about how women know nothing about football and how the two don't mix. So far I've been unable to find someone with both the knowledge or the temperament. I was hoping Dirk would fit the bill.

Sarah Star I do sometimes, but I'm afraid you might laugh at some of the ones I really want the answers to...or you might just find it annoying.
