Norfolk Royal What I find depressing about this scenario is that Sky Sports News chiefly, along with other media outlets, can blithely run a story saying Moyes has bid £3.5-million thus unsettling the player, when it is blatantly untrue.

Given that at about 10.30pm on deadline day Sky Sports claimed to have received a call from Reading FC stating that there would be no transfers in or out, you would have thought that they could have rung their contact at RFC to verify the Everton bid. But then, of course, they wouldn't have had a story!!

I would suggest a proper 'professional' ie De la Cruz could have done that job and perhaps should have been given the opportunity.

Thaumagurist* Surely Sky Sports News should check their stories first, get a confirmation, before running it.

Thaumagurist* Why? Shouldn't they do that to avoid getting sued for running untrue stories. I think Reading should sue Sky Sports News.
