Yes, but considering we have Bikey and Dubes also, I wouldn't think a problem exists at centre back.

Don’t think we have a problem at centre back. Pearce can become a regular in that position it’s exciting times with AP and the other academy lads coming through. Just feel a little bit for James Henry – that man Kebe is a fantastic player.

he missed a lot of headers against palace (headers that bikey and doobs wouldnt have missed).


not saying he cant be great in the future but imo on just 1 full games evidence id say he is behind doobs and bikey

But that's because he's not got the first-team experience yet. He can only get better by playing more.

But that's because he's not got the first-team experience yet. He can only get better by playing more.

I dont doubt that atall.... will be interesting to see if he gets a good run of games but with all cb's fit im not sure he will. He could have probably done without this international break and have had a couple more games to cement his place.

Another problem is centre backs rarely get brought on to gain experience or make an impact in a game(obviously defensive organisation suffers). Where as somebody like Jem can come on last 20- 30 minutes that opportunity may not be there for pearce

he might not though. he might go to let the younger players have a shout. Pearce was solid to me against Palace. He should be in the pecking order for Ipswich.

If the team is winning and individuals are playing well he will always stick with them - regardless of how old/experienced they are.
