Missing the days when we had players like Mautone who would (literally) worship the fans and play their guts out for us instead of overpaid ungrateful so and sos who want to get away as soon as possible and complain when they wrongly think they've been prevented from doing so.

Missing the days when we were happy to be a second tier side.

Missing the days when we not only actually sang chants but would come up with witty situational ones.

Missing the Southbank and the atmosphere we had there, with me starting chants like this.

I hate plastic and I miss the Southbank. There I said it.

i miss elm park falling to pieces under my feet on the west stand. a throw in or corner, would send the grampa's into fits of annoyance. oh the days i miss. this ****** stadium we have that will never fall to pieces when we get a throw in or corner up the opponents end.

Harsh. Nicky Hammond was actually not a bad keeper, he just had terrible luck with injuries and managed less than 100 professional appearances in his career.

I was going to add that the only thing he really lacked was a few inches, but apparently I was wrong on this count:

Harsh. Nicky Hammond was actually not a bad keeper, he just had terrible luck with injuries and managed less than 100 professional appearances in his career.

I was going to add that the only thing he really lacked was a few inches, but apparently I was wrong on this count:

hes pretty poor on cm 9798, usually released on a free before the career starts. we also had hammond and bibbo at that time. bibbo was the highest valued, but i think hammond usually got better ratings.

As good as he was in my opinion the best keeper I`ve seen in my time as an RFC fan has got to be Steve Francis, anyone else agree with me?
