Team for Ipswich

by SCIAG » 09 Sep 2008 17:44

I'd like:

USA

Armstrong
Pearce
Ingi
LR

Shunt
Bikey (if fit)
Marek (if fit)
Kebe

Doyle
N Hunt

Subs: Federici, Harper/Bikey (as cover at centre back), Cisse, Henry, Long

We'll get:
the above, but with Karacan and Harper in midfield. And Kelly on the bench instead of Henry.

I can see us playing the same team as was played against CP.
Except maybe Bikey coming in to replace Pearce/Karacan.
I don't mind anymore - I have faith in our squad at this moment in time. :o

What he said.

Coppell change a winning team, it just doesn't happen. He should find a place in that team for Bikey, but due to his weak management he won't.

Same as the last game, although the bench may change as Murts, Marek and Gunns are nearing returns........

Had we had a game last weekend I feel he might've replaced Long with Hunt, but I think the heat has died down over just how shocking he was, so maybe not. Reckon Bikey will be on the bench tbh, same with Matejovsky if fit. Coppell won't want to make the mistake of bringing MM back early again.

Bikey at centre half is a massive improvement to the side, I just think he's that good.

Plus I'm not totally sure about Ivar and Pearce as a partnership, not great in the air. Think Bikey/Pearce is the future. Ivar's been great, but look at the goals we conceeded last season, as massive amount came from Ivar errors, not sure he's quite as steady as others suggest.

Either the same side, or we may see N.Hunt start with Long on the bench.

No more changes bar that.
