Just got back to work after watching the 1st half albeit the first 5mins. We went in with a 5-0 lead!

Sodje, Mooney, Lita, Lita and Sodje.

Missed Sodje's 1st goal. Mooneys was taken very well - rounded the keeper pretty much with some good footwork. Lita won a pen. Ball crossed across face of goal keeper went for it - Lita took it away from him and got brought down. Lita fetched the ball - placed it down and spanked it into the top corner. Really took it well! Then Mooney and Lita worked really well together with a neat 1-2 and Lita finished again. Then Sodje rounded off the half with an unchallenged header from a corner.

Could have been 8-0 had Lita hit the target with a clear header, but it went just over the bar. And Convey firing well wide after creating himself alot of room - and the keeper actually made a decent save from Lita.

Lewes were rubbish to tell you the truth. Some of their players looked like they were 16, and all were small apart from their right winger

That's all I can tell ya!! Oh and there was about 150-200ish in the east stand

Can't help but believe (get carried away) there is a real momentum building now! We seam to be doing so well on every level - and i'd go as far as to say, be in better shape than when we set the record!

We have a fantastic first tea with real challenge for places and a fantastic reserves whom are coming of age - by the end of this season this could quite possibly be the best of our history!

Exciting times!

Good result for the reserves but if you look at the opposition you can see why the result was what is was!

Good to see the new boy Mooney get a hat-trick which will boost his confidence bit time.

Can't be the best in our history. We can't finish higher than 8th in the top flight this season.

Bignall came on in the second half and put in 2 or 3 quite electrifying runs. The best goal was a very powerful header from their central defender, Goran Crnobrnja, from our corner that Sonko would have been proud of. He was substituted soon after.

Apart from their breakaway goal it was shooting practice for virtually the whole game and I actually thought Sodje had a good game. Murty was p#ssed though when he just got beaten to the ball from an inswinging corner by Sam for one of the goals. Our set pieces caused some great goal mouth scrambles.

And a salute to Lee from Lewes who cheered his team on from the back of the East Stand even when 7-1 down.

Hardly surprising this result

I'd expect our reserves to coast to a comfortably victory over their first team let alone their reserves
