is the REAL Ivar back ??

by Kieron1981 » 01 Oct 2008 11:25

Listening to Reading107 last night i seem Ivar won EVERYTHING in the air and between him and Bikey made the goal a fortress

He also got the commentators MOTM

if we cast our mind back to the last few games of the Prem and the first few games of this season he didnt even make the bench some games

is this a turning point ?

Back in a level where he can thrive, as much as back to form, I think.

The only match he didn't make the bench in was one were he was injured.

I also think that Ivar has no problem being 'up for it' when playing Wolves. Probably feels he has something to prove to a club that sold him on after giving him very few starts (and a loan to Brighton thrown in for good measure).

Great that he seems to be performing, but I still worry about how easily he is turned these days. I heard at least one case of it happening in the Wolves match.

Pearce looks a good player but made a few mistakes. Hopefully he'll use his brief run to step up a notch. Bikey is a great player.

If he only gets turned once in each game, I for one will enjoy watching him receive the player of the season.

Well as he is getting on a bit (in football terms) all we need is Ivar to last the season and mentor / help Pearce with his progress into the first team

Pearce is going to be great for the future... but at the moment he is a little rough around the edges
