papereyes
Sarah Star He looked like Fabregas when he played in the Euro's I thought...maybe I dreamt that though.

On the pitch for about 30 minutes at most in a game?

68 minutes against Portugal and 39 minutes in the Turkey game before he got injured. He did look pretty classy in both games. (He wouldn't have dropped that cross in the last minute.)

Were forgetting how good Marek is.
At the moment i would drop both Gunnar and Marek and put in Harper and Marek. But only once Marek is back to full fitness.

Bill Oddie's Beard
Chuckle Brother At the moment Bryn is first choice centre mid for me. And you can see him working well with any of the others.

Any combination without him in looks a bit lightweight, especially for away games.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but I didn't think I'd here anyone say this a few months ago!!!

Me neither, and it's me that's saying it.

Well it's the same question with Harps. I fear that if Harps does come straight back in then it would be at the expense of Karacan. If that happens then well shambles...

great news, but as said he'll have a job getting into the team as it is, although at least now we can mix and match out central mids even more with marek being an option

Well tbh the way we are playing atm I don't see why we need to change it around just because he is perhaps a "bigger name" player than what we have in the midfield already. I fear that if one of them is dropped it will be Karacan and that would be a disgrace.

I'm not. Karacan has come in and done a fantastic job so do drop him is just criminal. Coppell has put faith in the youngsters and given them a go and they have proved how good they are.

Well it appears he isn't fully fit atm. At Wolves he wasn't in the squad but doing running up and down the touch line during the warm up. Pearce came in and did a good job and I think most people will agree with that.

What I'm trying to say is why should Marek just walk back into the team when he actually hasn't proved much yet tbh. (apart from his goal at Liverpool)

As much as I think Jem is a good, I do think Marek is the better option at the moment. A game can turn on him - his vision is brilliant.

What I'm trying to say is that I think it's wrong that a player like Jem has come in and put in a good shift and could possibly be dropped in the near future just because a higher profile player is waiting to come back in.

well football isn't dictated by some kind of moral code or moral obligation, it's dog eat canine out there and the better player should be selected

I know but I'm just expressing my view that I don't think it's fair on the other players.
