Basingstoke RoyalbrendywendyBasingstoke Royal There have been so many times this season where he has given up too easily.
He isnt giving 100% - fact.
Could you imagine Long going for the header that Noel scored on Saturday - not in a million years.
He is a good squad player to come off the bench - nothing more at the moment.
everyone knows lower case facts arent worth the espace theyre written on son
what you need is an upper case FACT
like the FACT that shane long gives 110% every game
He gives about 80%. Shane Long in the Championship winning side gave 100%.
Now he thinks he is something he is not - and when things arent going well he throws the shirt on the floor.

Man Friday Shane Long. A good player who wil get better and better and better. I am sure (but it is not a fact).

Royal Rother For the last 18 months Long has contributed more than Lita. His first touch is often horrible but he does create things, puts himself about a bit (a lot) and shows pace that defenders find hard to cope with, particularly when coming on late.
Lita has done none of the above in similar measures for a long time; in fact he has contributed too little for too long for it to be a simple loss of form.

Agreed, but I was surprised to see him score 3 goals for Charlton when he went there on loan last season, which proves he can still do it...just not with us.

Archie's penaltyVictor Meldrew The shame about both Noel and Shane in my view is that they can't hold the ball up when played from the back and their heading ability is only apparent when they attack the ball.
I think Hunt holds the ball up better than any of our strikers.
He's as strong as an ox.
