Chill out, Sogs. I wasn't serious. And I don't really care about Exeter, you can say all sort of bad things about it if you like, it won't bother me.

Now can we get back to discussing the football please?

Anything less than a 4-0 win tomorrow and you have to LOL at our over paid ego fueled stars.

Roll on the Doncaster game and something to actually care about.

Deathy - I would usually agree with your perception of the national team over the past couple of years or so but there was most definitely a spark in the last performance - which is why I am going to Berlin next month for a bloody "friendly". I think we're showing signs of being "back".

Back to the thread and I have to agree with papereyes - there are some ~incredibly~ fit Khazak birds in Dubai.... the vast majority of them hookers.

I expect that the footy team will have benefited from the Dutch git who has been coaching them for the past couple of years before he got the sack because he couldn;t take them into the FIFA top 20 in four years. They will be fit, strong and organized.

If we get it down, wide and use pace we'll murder them.

If we pussy foot around trying to play all "European".... gawd knows.

I don't understand this. What I saw from the Croatian game was an England team actually working out that they *could* play in something approaching 'European' ...

What they had under the previous management was too slow and too aimless. Basically: just sh1t.

Yes, I can see the tautology, papereyes.

But.... we were playing "European" with wingers, getting the ball out wide to runners quickly rather than trying to play either: a) ponderous middle of the park fugging around or b) long ball to creative white space behind the full backs ....

There lies one of the major problems with England fans.

The Kazakhstan coach has talked about playing an expansive game at Wembley this afternoon, if thats the case then it will play into our hands and they could get thrashed. Coupled with their inexperienced side it wouldn't surprise me if it was 4 or 5, but i'll settle for 2-0 and a decent performance.

Oh, and i hope its Upson who plays alongside Rio..

This is the first EngLOLand game I've looked forward to for years. Possibly because we will win, it's a matter of by how many. Plus we're at home and it makes it more appealing for me.

Just a shame there wont be an apperance from Borat. "Is nice"

I would laugh my arse off if we only manage a draw or lose now. Typical arrogant English comment.

Sorry about this being a bit off-topic, but is anyone else's picture really shit? We have a HD tv- though no HD service as of yet, and the game looks absolutely horrible. No clarity at all. I realise the sometimes non-HD shows on a HD tv can look a little worse than a normal tube television but this is much worse than any show I've seen on this tv.

Kazakhstan aren't bad. I mean, they're not great but their striker's a bit nippy. 1st cap as well.

England keeping ball and keeping the tempo up.

I've just got back from my game and have two pizzas in the oven. 8)
