That being said, it reminds us that it would be good to see him playing for Reading again. We don't want to lose another young striker like we did with Simon Cox.

MOTD highlights are usually shite for the first few rounds as they feature a couple of potential giant killers and then show the goals from the other games
will the highlights be on virgin media? i know they do championship games but what about the FA cup?

I'm not sure but imagine they would be. They seem to have the rights for almost everything.

He's not as good as Simon Cox and I doubt he'll even play a first team game for us. I think his record in the lower leagues supports that unfortunately.

I can only go by what I saw on TV when he played for Wales U21s and in those two games he looked as though he has something about him.
Unfortunately these games can be misleading because it's young 'uns against young 'uns.

He certainly took his goals well but he just looks like a huffer and puffer whenever I've seen him play for the ressies (and I think the youth team a couple of times). A bit like Shane Long he looks like he's about to do something but never really pulls it off.

1 goal in 20 odd appearances in the lower leagues isn't the kind of record that demands a chance in our side.
