Alan Partridge Well we do need a second choice keeper and that's what Federici is. Andersen isn't remotely good enough to play for Reading, he's getting some games doing well by all accounts but I've not been overly impressed when I've seen him. you talk about Hahnemann becoming a liablity based on one poor performance at Preston, yet in Federici's limited appearances I can think of 3 or 4 basic errors that have cost goals.

In his last 3 games Marcus has (IMO) been very shakey. He is not a realistic long term option, therefore we should be looking wither to blood FEd or Hamer, or buy a replacement.

What was wrong against Burnley? All he had to do all night was pick the ball out of the net in the 86th minute, or whatever it was.

Well we might do when it comes to January, we can't buy anyone now. Hahnemann is out of contract at the end of the season so they've got to make a decision by then.

Hahnemann is still the best keeper in the club, sod long term, the short term is to get promoted and that's by playing your best players, Hahnemann is our best keeper so he plays. Goalkeepers are better when they are older anyway.

Half Man Half Biscuit Last night there was a section of the West stand booing Marcus at the start of the game.
I heard it in the second half as well.

Bastards.
I hate it when fans boo one of our own. It not only effects the player but his team mates as well.

WTF were they playing at??

Are you sure they were booing Marcus? Maybe the prawns were off?

maybe they were just booing the whole boring experience.

tbf I'm lukewarm on Marcus - I realise he was the difference between us getting relegated on goal difference and in 20th place, but I've never been a fan of his distribution and he's looking very uncertain on crosses/high balls at the mo
