Re: KEBE - AN ENIGMA?

Huntley & Palmer
Wycombe Royal
Huntley & Palmer For Kebe, see historical performances and opinions on Seol, Rougier and Gilkes

More consistent than Seol (so far), better in every department than Rougier, and unlike Gilksey Kebe can occasionally cross the ball into the box rather than just the stand behind the goal.

Goals are the only thing missing at the moment.

Hmm, I would question the consistency to be honest. Seol had scored three goals by this stage in his first season and had bagged a good load of assists, all of this in the Premiership. Kebe has looked decent but not scored and provided assists in the Championship. His consistency away from home is questionable at best

Seol had been playing in this country for quite a while by the time he joined us and came into a side that was settled and playing well. Kebe joined when we were playing crap. Kebe hasn't scored but has assisted four goals in his last seven appearances and should have won us a penalty on Saturday. Seol also made a few appearances as a striker.

In short, Kebe is still settling in and is growing in stature with each appearance, in comparison Seol had already peaked and was starting his decline......

I thought he was garbage on Saturday, some people seem to think he is brilliant but so far am not convinced. His first touch and control at times is awful and i dont think his final ball or decision making is always up to scratch.

I find it hard to single out Jimmy Kebe's performance on Saturday as there were alot of other poor performances. Any chance to have a dig at Kebe and people take their chance there and then. Yes he didn't have a good game but he has been a big player so far for us this season contributing to goals and also adding pace and attacking threat to our game.

Not at all...
He probably hasn't had enough english lessons or maybe thats the 'lazy way' of writing embarassing

and yes, of course it's Kebe's fault we've been playing rubbish in the past 3 games, if he would've scored it would've been a totally different story
no, it's the whole team's fault on how we've been performing.

You can't tell me he has played well in the last three games. He has been terrible. His ball control fools even himself.

A player with potential, yes, but he is in poor form right now.

Jimmy is going to score tomorrow. I promise.

And if he does, will that make him a better player?

He is good, no one should deny it, everyone has their 'not so good days'
and he's just having a few atm, it doesn't mean he's rubbish. I like Kebe

bring on a goaaaal

Listen, I'll crack one off if Kebe just beats his man, doesn't give the ball away and then manages a cross.

He has been no worse than most, and certainly not 'embarassing'
