weybridgewanderer Having lived in Reading when the IRA planted 2 bombs in reading station it does annoy me that people wave Irish Tricilors

Because, of course, all the Irish were in on that plot!

Huntley & Palmer bringing children along

I started bringing my kids along when they were about 7. Even at that tender age they showed a greater interest and knowledge of the game than many of the 'adults' who were present. So perhaps you would be better saying 'disinterested' children.

Booing. Our team or the other team. If I want to go to a pantomime I'll wait until December.

Sarah Star I think it's a shame all these people saying things get on your collective nerves. I'd much rather have someone saying something than just sitting there passively blinking a bit.

yeah the atosphere really sucks. i may start skipping games and going to away games instead. i mean people can do what they want but it's just more fun at away games.

i thought i'd read this thread though to see if there was anything about me. fortunately there isn't! not that i could ever be called annnoying.

Thin Cat The annoying woman who sits next to me is completely clueless about football, and everything she says is just plain wrong.

I might leave her at home next season.

Royal Lady Poor Sarah. We certainly do get more than our fair share of morons at games these days. (And I include the harridan who sits behind me every week, puts her feet on my seat and LAUGHS like a fecking banshee every time the opposition look like they might get a goal. Plus she thinks Shane Long is a brilliant striker. She should be locked up.)

Are you sure that's not Shane's Mum?

SLAMMED
LoyalRoyalFan A young lad who sits next to me.
Every game he must spend around £30 on food. He goes to get something to eat every 10 minutes.

so during a 90 minute game, thats 9 times. 30/9 = £3.33 = about a rollover hotdog.

Does he really eat 9 rollover hotdogs a game?

Crisps,Chocolate,Hot Dogs. The works. The thing that annoy's me is the constant getting up and down in my seat. I'm not at a disco you know.

[pedant] disinterested means "impartial". It doesn't mean uninterested[/pedant]

From Dictionary.com

Disinterested:
–adjective
1. unbiased by personal interest or advantage; not influenced by selfish motives: a disinterested decision by the referee.
2. not interested; indifferent.

SLAMMED the two people who sit near me are really annoying. Theres a woman with an annoying voice not unlike the MOTD fmale commentator, and she just keeps saying "come on Jem" "Come on Doyle". and the bloke she is with isnt much better. In another irritating voice he says things like "HAHA! isnt bikey just the greatest" "i wonder how he (s.hunt) can see with all that hair on his head".

Id love to tell them to put a sock in it, but i dont think any pair of socks deserves that kind of treatment.

One thing that annoys me is people who are blocking the whole of the concourse because they are watching the T.V down the bottom of the concourse opposite Y19. While i'm trying to get through them just to get out for a ciggy.

The idiot who sits near me who keeps whingeing about Kebe. He did the same with Seol. The cretin wouldn't know a quality player if one kicked him in the nackers.

Oh, and people who whine about people standing up coz they're too fat and lazy to stand up themselves.

People who know feck all about football, they piss me right off. Like for example we played Didcot a few years back the day we signed Lita, and we had a massive white man in the team on trial up front, and one person was like, lets go and ask him for his signature, its Lita! Was tempted to smack the pcunt.
