what a top performance from khalifa. really impressed with him midweek and again today. man of the match. song of the day. what a difference he has made being in the middle of the park. i have no problem with bryn and jem playing in the middle but i really feel with khalifa and harps in the middle we have now dominated the midfield for the last 2 games and with marek now in the reckoning too surely bryn and jem have been pushed down the pecking order. didnt like it when we went 4-5-1 today though.

Would've started a thread if this wasn't going but is our Cisse turning into a bit of a midfield demon?

I mean, yeah the guy can probably tackle as good as any other midfielder we have, being a defender... but it seems he also has pace and the ability to score.

The goal against You'veLetUsDownAgain was an incredible run into the box with a perfect finish... and now this.

He's really finding his feet in midfield and I hope it long continues.

Could we have found someone Sidwell-esque who has the energy to run box to box, not be afraid of tackles and pose a serious goalscoring threat too?

Come on Cisse, get your backside into gear, don't let your performance drop and you could really be something.

Alot of the Brizzle fans around me were saying how Elliot needs to wake up as he wasn't even in the game. They seemed to think Noble did ok when he came on though.

Just seen the goals on The Championship, and it was indeed a decent strike by Cisse.

Wasn't it him who scored from outside the box at White Hart Lane last season? If so, it's good to finally have a central midfielder (since Sidders) who is actually willing to have a pop from distance, and with a degree of success also.
