It says in that article that "Simon Church has broken his head". Do they mean "cracked it"?

Nah, he will be very important to us in the second half of the season on experience alone.

The RFC Official website writer is rubbish. He always makes spelling errors etc. I know i do but at least i don't get paid to do it!

Looks like our captain is responding to Liam's great start to the season, am sure it'll be a while though, he'll need a mini pre-season! He's M- U - R - T - Y! On yer toes Liam!

Murts is the classic example of what a captain should be massively supportive of everything that the team do, a fit Murts will put the pressure on Rosenior, however I fully expect him to play second fiddle, unless Rosey gets injured. Not convinced that he will still be playing next season, but I just cant see him moving on he is a Reading man through and through.

agreed
if he does decide to hang up his boots at the end of the season i would be surprised if he wasnt given some kind of coaching role
he is the kind of the guy the club need to be involved with in any way

I must admit I'm not sure but I think it's a fairly safe bet to assume that the RFC Official website writer isn't paid to make spelling errors etc. either.

Soon? :|

The injury is causing a lot of concern from what I've heard. Plus he wont displace Rosenior, not unless LR gets injured too.

According to Mr Fearn only Sodje, Church and Mooney are currently injured.

Murts is back in full training so may conceivably make the bench tomorrow but I'd be surprised.

Much as I admire GM's grit and determination, his hopes of regular first team football rest this season depend on LR getting injured or suspended. His best chance of a slot next year is if we fail to get promoted so I'm not keen on that either. I would welcome him in a coaching role but I think he'll go into broadcasting rather than management.

btw he's not Reading through and through. He's a good ambassador for Reading because it's his job and he has a work ethic. However, his roots are in the North-East and isn't he a Newcastle supporter at heart?

Brilliant. A jumped up cheerleader with no coaching experience. Just what we will need.
