The 17 Bus If brum can take an auto spot, with help from Kitson, it has to make it harder ro us to go up, shirly

They are miles better than us already. If they can't achieve a top two finish with Philips, Jerome, McFadden, McSheffers, Bent... then they deserve to rot in this league.
I think we're play-off material anyway to be honest.
I can see the top two strengthening in January, but not us. And our squad isn't the strongest already.

They are not miles better than us and they never have been...apart from our performance against Southampton.

Just telling you how it is. Brum are a very very strong outfit, and they have something we don't - strength in depth and 4 classy strikers.

4 classy strikers - of which one has scored most of their "few goals"! If they were so lethal up front they would have more goals on the board than anyone else - they haven't so cant be that classy! Must of got nosebleeds on Friday - they scored 3 rather than the usual 1

After 18 games there is not a lot in it, if you look at games played we both drew at Forest, both beat donny by one goal at home, they beat Charlton at home we lost to them away, we both got 3 poits from the only team we played twice, way too close to call, also they have 5 loans at the moment, so any of those could go in Jan.

I think he'll stay in the prem.. Wigan.. or Everton, since they are skint.

Oh and before saying Blues are much better than us, let's wait till the 20th to see by how much?

Kitson is far, far to proud to take a step back down in January.

No chance.

Doyle has scored more goals this season than Phillips, McSheffrey, Bent and Jerome put together.

Reading have scored 14 more goals than Birmingham this season.

Points are all that matter at the end of the day / season but there's not a lot of evidence so far to suggest that Birmingham are miles better than us, or (certainly) that their strikers are much better than ours.

I'd possibly rather have Phillips than NHunt and definitely ahead of Mooney and Long. Doyle is by far and away our best player so he's well ahead.

The other three I don't care for but Phillips would have made a real difference.

lol

I just think that, until February at the very earliest, it is not necessarily position that matters but points and the performances in getting those points. This will be the same for any club. It is just ... convenient ... that a good example is us, last season.

I genuinely don't care if its tedious.

It's not even really performances that matter, just points. Performances only matter when they help you console yourself after a defeat.
