Sadly agree it's going to be a 1:2 defeat. Two reasons - this has been the result two out of the last three times we've played them; also they are ominously in bottom half of table and generally crap. Bet they'll have their best game of the season on Monday and then go and lose the next three. Don't think Southampton has scored a goal in the last two games since playing us.

Firstly,i don't agree that we'll lose 2-1 JUST BECAUSE they've won by that scoreline 2 of the 3 times we've played them. Secondly this is a NEW season which means everything that's happened in previous matches will be forgotten.

I have a feeling we'll look comfortable, leading 1-0 at half-time, then they'll come out a team transformed and win the game 2-1.

I really don't think we're that bad against teams in the lower half of the table, Coventry aren't right at the bottom of the table. Plus we beat Shef Weds in quite some style and they are in the bottom half. So one or two really poor results against lower opposition doesn't mean we'll lose this tomorrow. Funny how we weren't discussing this before the Soton match, but rather how many we'd win by. It's amazing how things change so quickly. Oh, and may i also point out, we did beat Donny, but they made us work for the 3 points and we did battle in that match so it wasn't like we rolled over. Does anyone know how many goals we've conceeded against teams in the lower half of the table? i really don't think we've conceeded many.
