We ordered our Soton tickets last Friday, and they still hadn't arrived in today's post, so the wife rang the ticket office to find out what has happened to them. They told her that because they had had so many personal callers wanting Southampton tickets they had decided to sell the whole of the first allocation to personal callers only, and that folks who ordered on-line would only get tickets out of any subsequent allocation they asked for.

So if you've ordered online and not seen any tickets yet, now at least you'll know why.

Personally I think it's a bad decision on the part of the TO, especially as there was nothing on the on-line ticketing system to indicate that that was what they were going to do.

So by that, does that mean that people who have already bought their tickets (or thought that they had bought them) online might not even get them then due to the allocation being sold out?

No it just means they will take up the extra allocation and those buying online will get their tickets from that batch.

Bought my Saints tickets today, no problem at all getting them.

I wonder how many we'll end up taking down?

Tickets bought today and said I wanted to avoid the front... 'we got an extra 500 the other day so I'll find you one further back'... and she did. Me and little SWLRs are IN.

I was in row 3 last year and it was crap, well worth trying to move up the back if people are standing.
