How can Everton have 'no money'? s it all going into their new stadium?

they did have money but they spent around £12 mill i think on the standard liege player

it is a well known fact that the buy-out clause in hunt's contract is £5m. The guy hasn't been the same since signing his new contract, however I simply can't see a club bidding that amount of money for him.

Sunderland's interest will basically be over now Keane has gone and the bid Everton has supposedly made is rubbish as we were technically closed on deadline day as we bid for no-one and only had general enquiries, no firm bids.

Surman i believe is a no go as we bid and had it accepted, only for him to ask for stupid wages.

it was part of his contract, that if we got relegated he would be placed on the transfer list

That's not how quit is meant in football rumours Ian, it just means he'll leave the club should the deal be available.

Yeah but my point is he can't leave without the offer. The offer has to be made first, not as a result of Hunt saying he will leave.
