The question is can we improve?

I think we all know we can.

Here's one for the records, we will win every game from now on.

depends whether we start playing well again, or stop sneaking the slightly undeserved victories.

I'd say we deserved to win out of the 2 sides today.

sounded to me like a draw was a much fairer result, as it did in the last game.

It's hard to judge whether a team should win or not if you aren't watching it hth.

Nah!

Teams come to the Mad and know what to do. The first 20 mins were tough but we controlled the game from then

Brum losing in aded time - what a hoot - getting a bit of their own medicine. Now I'm strangely confident about next week - going second with a bit of luck.

I don't think you can state a number of points in order to go up, as it depends on the other teams. Finish ahead of 22 teams and we are up. It might take 95 points to do this or 85 might be enough. It depends on what they do as well as us.

Wolves will to equal the first half of the season to match our 106 pts. That drives home just how good and consistent we were that Champonship winning season.

AlexY25 Even though it can change, i can still see it coming down to wolves, brum and reading, and i think its possible to come down to last day, should be around 90 points i reckon.

Spot on. I reckon at least one of the 3 will have a sticky patch in 2nd half of season - nearly always happens: let's hope it's not us! 90-92 points is almost always enough.

We are obviously not looking as imperious as in 05/06 but people often forget we sneaked quite a few results that season too - Norwich away, the siege of St. Mary's, Sheff U at home.

Ian Royal 88 would do it IMO.

Maybe as low as 86, but I doubt it.

87 or 88 should do it.

90 points should be enough

i am confident wolves and brum will go through bad spells at some point and this should give us a chance to get to the top of the league
we have already had one poor run of form and hopefully the rest of the season will be good

Having seen Birmingham yesterday, I'm revising my prediction down to 84 points for auto promo. Twelve more wins should do it.

Wolves have had a bad spell, Brum are currently going through one.

Again, following BCFC's lacklustre performance yesterday and their recent dire record, I'm revising my prediction down to 82. A draw on Tuesday and then 9 more wins from the last 17 games and we're there.

I can't see less than 85 being good enough even then....

So if we need 85 points, thats 31 points in 17 games we need. Thats less than 2 points a game. I dont think its too impossible to get 8,9 or even 10 wins in our last 17, add that to a couple of draws and we'll be right up there.
