SCIAG
atarax Right now the Guardian match report for the Norwich game has
"Chris Federici deputised in the Reading goal for Marcus Hahnemann"...

Was in the observer too. Also said that Marek was in for Kebe.
He was, wasn't he?
:?

Technically, no, he was in for Henry. Though you could argue he was in for our first choice RM, Kebe.

Harper was in for Henry as both Marek and James started the last match.

OK, I think I get you now.

It doesn't matter who our first choice is for any position, it's based on who played in the last match but doesn't play in this one, and who comes into the team for this match. Right?

(Although you got me a bit confused talking about 'James', but I'm assuming it's James Henry and not James Harper).

With the real Nicky Hunt in evidence this Saturday, it will be interesting to see how many of them we are able to field.

Reading is by Championship standards, a good team, and has players, unlike Wolves, who would improve the Blues side. Nicky Hunt is a particular favourite of mine. Aggressive and creative he would fit in nicely to the Blues centre.

they've also got us on 40 points and the blues on 44, even though it's dated 18/12

Birmingham Away programme, page 26, 1st paragraph, 5 lines down. ".....Neil Shorey To Aston Villa."

Not a Reading player any more but thought it was worth a mention.

The Times has an article about Doyle's loyalty to us, but has a picture of Noel Hunt doing a somersault. :|

Not a mistake about a player's name but just as bad-Don Goodman trying to tell us tonight that Kevin Doyle's strongest foot is his left and how a defender should force him on to his right.
At least he didn't go on to say that S Hunt's strongest is his right.

AND.

before I left home for the pub tonight I checked the Sky website TV guide to see what time the programme started and it said that we could close the gap to Birmingham to four points with a win tonight.
