I reckon 2-0 with Doyle and Long on the scoresheet.

Other predictions:
Ivar will produce another steady 8/10 performance
Doyler will get Man of the match
Armstrong will have another solid game at left back
Federici will still kick more accurately than Hahnemann ever has in his career

Mr Angry I predict:

8. By the end of the game, there will be less than 20,000 people watching both in the ground and on the TV

'Fewer than 20,000', otherwise I think you have nailed it!

Scouted Watford on Saturday and they were utterly AWFUL!
They seem to persist with Priskin up front and he makes Long look Brazillian!

Tommy Smith is their best player and would be a good steal for us!
They would sink like a brick without him.

Anyway we should wind up the mellow army with "Tommy Smiths a Royal na na na na!"

Mr Angry I predict:

1. The phantom goal will be replayed by Sky over and over again before the game is broadcast.
2. It is mentioned at least 10 times during the commentary
3. Ever time either team has a shot that goes wide, both sets of fans will wildly cheer. Ironic eh??
4. It will be very cold.
5. The gate will be cr@p
6. Watford fans chant "4-0 and you still went down". Terrace wit eh??
7. It will end 0-0
8. By the end of the game, there will be less than 20,000 people watching both in the ground and on the TV
9. The first post match post in the "Back from the game" thread will be made by someone who wasn't at the game.
10. Shane Long will come on as a sub.

That's a very safe 10.

9 is pretty unlikely.

1) Back from the game threads are usually started by someone who was at the game.
2) I'll be at the game.

The American marching band was the hightlight of the day!

Even though the football wasn't pretty at least under Boothroyd we tried to get forward and create chances.

Think our new guy has to learn we aren't Chelsea/Arsenal who can pass the ball around for ever sideways.

I think you and me could have done more than Priskin/McAnuff.

Smith has one of his poorer games I thought.

Jack Cork looks pretty useful but he's not ours.

The joy of managers who think passing it around prettily in the middle third is the way to score goals. Glad we haven't had one of those since Burns left.

In all fairness to Boothroyd I did think we were trying to pass the ball more (ok not too hard compared to what we saw last season..) but our defence was just a total mess that we could score 2/3 and still lose and even since the change of manager we've only just kept our 1st clean sheet at QPR who are quite low in the scoring charts anyway (we beat them 3-0 at the Vic under the caretaker Mackay) I think.

At the time I thought it was harsh to sack him (even more so as since then the chairman and CEO have both quit)

I am sure he means and probably does bring through good young players for the future which is what we need but as you suggest points aren't won for looking stylish in midfield despite what some say...and we have never been a tippy tap sort of club so our fans aren't really used to it like the top clubs which is where Rodgers has come from.

We had such a style under Vialli and look how long he lasted with us.

Passing is great but only if it serves a purpose and the team is creating chances.

In the spirit of fair play we will allow the Watford keeper to to stroll up and score except he will miss and set the tone for the rest of the night 0-0

Not sure about number 9 but the rest sound inevitable.

The American marching band were a Godsend,
They got seriously bored with the soccer (like the rest of us) and started playing for their own entertainment last 20 minutes.
It lifted the whole atmosphere.
We should get one to play for us on very cold, dull games like Watford!
